Admiralty ASC Launch

£4,995.00

Walton on the Naze, Essex

Well-appointed outboard powered motor launch "Joanna", built by Bossoms as a variation of the Admiralty Sailing Craft (ASC) design in british racing green. Beautifully fitted throughout to a high specification, she presents in immaculate condition. Stable hull shape and large cockpit table and sprayhood for those wet and windy days.

The Admiralty specification written in 1925 was for a clinker-built wooden craft. In 1961 it was updated to allow construction of the external hull (only) in the then new GRP, and in 1975 (in consultation with Bossoms Boatyard) a shift to full GRP construction was approved. She is all GRP. The age of this vessel is unknown, she has been converted from the sailing rig and her keel has been removed as she is now used purely as a launch.
