1979 Channel Island 22, much updated in recent years including "£20k plus" refit by Dale Sailing in Wales which included fitted a new Beta 50hp diesel (still in warranty) in 2022 with around 70 hours running.  New wheelhouse windows, re-lining of the wheelhouse, rebuilding of the P bracket and much more!   2 berth cabin with separate heads.  June 2024 insurance survey.

Built in 1979. GRP construction with blue topsides and white superstructure, grey decks. Aft cockpit with wheel steering, 2 berth interior layout.

Mechanical

Beta 50hp inboard diesel engine fitted new in 2022. The installation included re-building the P-bracket, fitting a new shaft, propeller, exhaust, skin fittings & rope cutter. Shaft drive to fixed 3 blade propeller. 40 gallon fuel capacity in 2 tanks. Cruising speed around 7 knots with a max speed of about 9 knots. Current engine hours around 70.

Electrical

Alternator charging to 2 x 100 Amp/hr 12v batteries. 240v shore power. Galvanic isolator (2021).

Navigation

Compass, Horizon 1400 DSC VHF radio, Garmin EchoMap Plus 65CV 6" chartplotter (2020) with AIS, radar reflector, clock and barometer, navigation lights, steaming light, anchor light.

Safety

2 fire extinguishers, auto engine fire extinguisher, gas detector, manual bilge pump, auto bilge pump.

Deck Gear

Stainless steel pulpit, full cockpit canopy, cockpit cushions, boarding ladder (2019), wheel steering, Plastimo stainless steel removable davits (2021), 7.5kg Bruce anchor with new anchor chain 2020 (30m of 6mm calibrated), Lofrans electric anchor windlass, mooring warps and 6 fenders.

Domestic

Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners and grill, electric pumped cold water supply to sink from 22 gallon fixed water tank. Her separate heads compartment has a Jabsco marine toilet (2024). Blue/grey upholstery, curtains and carpets.

2 berths. Headroom from 5'6" to 5'9" approx.
