Owners Comments

Delivered from Blondcell in October 2000, launched with RCD category A, Ocean certification July 2003. After fulfilling a long held ambition to build a high quality sailboat, I have cruised the UK and Northern Europe, circumnavigating UK and lreland a number of times and sailed as far north as Stockholm and East as Roscoff, with many memorable visits to the Scottish west coast and Northern isles. Throughout Wyvern has been maintained to a high standard as witnessed by the engine being serviced at the end of every season irrespective of hours used so that it sits in clean oil for the six month off season. Running rigging removed and sails serviced. Items replaced when required, engine, sails, stern gear etc and plotter upgraded where necessary. Wyvern has proven to be a very safe and reliable boat over many sea miles. The reason for sale is while Wyvern has many good miles left in her the owner has not so it's time to move on, probably to something without a mast!
