Atlanta 28 by Atlanta Marine (variation of the Macwester 28 with taller rig), Vetus 16hp diesel fitted in 2006, new sails 2022/3, very tidy boat, just antifouled and polished, shore power, hot air heating and lots more!

Built in around 1978. GRP construction with white topsides and superstructure, triple keel with bilge keels and large skeg, aft cockpit, tiller steering, 4/5 berths, bermudan sloop rig. Development of the Macwester 28 with slightly taller mast.

Vetus twin cylinder 16hp inboard diesel engine (2006). Shaft drive to fixed 3 blade propeller. 25 litre fuel tank. Cruising speed under engine around 5 to 6 knots.

Hot air diesel heating system to cabin. Her galley has a Flavel Vanessa gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, water supply to sink from 100 litre water tank. Jabsco marine toilet in separate heads compartment. Yellow vinyl upholstery.

4/5 berths in 2 cabins with stranding headroom.

REMARKS

"Sea Gypsy was purchased by her present owner in 2016. He describes her as a comfortable cruising boat, perfect for exploring the East Coast rivers. He has upgraded many items over the years including the rubbing strake and sails, she certainly looks a great boat for her age!
