Volvo Penta D1-30 29hp inboard diesel engine (14 years) with shaft drive to fixed 3 blade propeller. 140 litre approx fuel tank with a consumption per hour of around 2 litres at a cruising speed of about 6 knots. Engine serviced annually.

Electrical

Alternator charging to 3 x 12v batteries (90 Amp/hr) with solar panels & Aerogen wind turbine. Trystar solar controller. 240v shore power with CTek battery charger. Inverter. 12v/240v TV antenna.

Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, icebox, Isotherm GE80 refrigerator (2024), pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, hot and cold water supply to sink from fixed water tank. Hot water via engine calorifier. Her separate heads compartment has a Lavac marine toilet and shower. Green velour upholstery, green curtains and carpets.

REMARKS

"Inspiration of Hastings" was purchased by her current owner around 15 years ago. She has been regularly updated over the year and maintained with extensive cruising in mind. She was sailed around the UK in 2014, the Channel Island & France on several occasions as well as cruisng the East Coast. She's been readied for the 2026 season however is regretfully for sale for health reasons.
