Commissioned in 1997. GRP construction with white topsides and blue markings, lifting keel, transom rudder, tiller steering, bermudan sloop rig.

Compass (poor), NASA Clipper Duet depth & log (needs paddle wheel sender), Hawk windvane at masthead.

Safety

Manual bilge pump.

Deck Gear

Fitted PVC cockpit cover, folding bathing ladder on transom, tiller steering, spinnaker pole, 2 sheet winches, anchor with chain and warp, standard Hawk deck gear including Harken cleats and blocks, 2 mooring warps and 3 fenders.

Sails

Slab reefing mainsail (Sanders 2023 - 2 reefs) with mainsail cover.  No 1 Jib on furler (Sanders approx 2020). Spinnaker (sanders).  Alloy mast and boom.  Stainless steel standing rigging (replaced in 2023 except backstay).

Owners Comments

"Buzz" is a standard Hawk 20 dayboat, moored and permanently sailed from Tollesbury Marina over the past 3 years. She's been sailed in all conditions, sometimes with 2 reefs and has performed brilliantly, giving a lot of pleasure to her owners. She has recent sails, rigging and engine and a great "self launching/recovery" road trailer (used without putting trailer in the water). Her gunwales have various bumps & scrapes and her compass is old, her log needs a paddle wheel sender but otherwise she's ready to go!
