Mechanical

Yanmar 1GM10 single cylinder 9hp inboard diesel engine (1996). Seawater cooling, 5 gallon fuel tank with a consumption per hour of just over one litre at a cruising speed of about 5 knots. Shaft drive to 2 blade folding propeller. New water pump 2020 and fuel gauge 2022.

Electrical

Alternator charging to 2 x 12 volt batteries (one replaced 2024). 240v shore power with 2 switched sockets (2024).

Navigation

Compass, Bi-Data depth and log (2021), NASA wireless wind (2023), DSC VHF radio with built in GPS (2020), FM/AM radio with speakers (2020), windvane at masthead, tillerpilot, radar reflector, navigation lights, steaming light, tri-colour masthead light.

She has 240v shore power and an electric fan heater. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, built in cool box, stainless steel sink with cold water supply from 10 gallon fixed water tank (2020), various pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Jabsco sea toilet and wash basin in separate heads compartment, blue fabric upholstery (4 new cushions 2020), gold curtains (2021) and wooden cabin floor.

ACCOMMODATION:

She has 6 berths in 2 cabins including a small double berth in the forepeak, 2 single settee berths either side of the saloon table and a double aft berth beneath the cockpit. Navigation table to port and galley to starboard.

REMARKS

"Amulet" has been mainly sailed single handed by her present owner, who has made several additions to make this easier. The mainsail can be raised and lowered from the cockpit and she has a self tacking jib. Her last survey was in 2019. Her owner is regretfully giving up sailing due to his advancing years.
