Mechanical

Yanmar 1GM10 single cylinder 9hp inboard diesel engine (approx 2008). Raw water cooled. Approx 20 litre fuel tank, fuel consumption is just over a litre an hour at a cruising speed of about 5 knots. Shaft drive to fixed 2 blade propeller. Engine hours approx 500.

Electrical

Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries, 240v shore power.

Navigation

2 x bulkhead compasses, NASA depth sounder, NASA log, Raymarine 54E DSC VHF radio, windex at masthead, Shipmate CP32 GPS, navigation lights, steaming light.

Safety

Horseshoe lifebuoy, manual bilge pump, auto electric bilge pump with float switch.

Deck Gear

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, red sprayhood, 2 x sheet winches, lines led aft to cockpit with 2 x halyard winches, reefing winch at mast, inflatable dinghy, plough anchor with chain, mooring warps and fenders.

Sails

Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks and mainsail cover. Genoa roller reefing system with furling genoa & red uv strip. Sails approx 15 years old. Spare original main and genoa. Alloy mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging renewed in July 2019.

Domestic

Hot air diesel heating with dedicated diesel tank. Her galley has a Tasman 2000 gas cooker with 2 burners and grill, large icebox, sink with hand pumped water supply. Separate heads compartment with marine toilet and wash basin. Galley and chart table.

ACCOMMODATION

4/6 berths - large double aft cabin, forward raised V berth converts to double and 2 settee berths.

Owners Comments

"Satara" was purchased by her present owner in 2018. Her engine, a new replacement fitted by the previous owner, has been serviced annually and her sails are good. Her standing rigging was renewed in July 2019. The boat was last lifted out of the water between January and June 2024 for antifoul, polish and normal maintenance.
