Mechanical

Volvo Penta 2002 twin cylinder 18hp inboard diesel engine. Shaft drive to bronze 2 blade propeller. Approx 1000 engine hours.

Electrical

Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries. 240v shore power.

Navigation

Compass, depth sounder, log, VHF radio, tillerpilot (not tested by present owner), Lowrance chart plotter, Garmin GPS, radar reflector, navigation light, steaming light.

Safety

Jacksay lifelines, manual bilge pump.

Deck Gear

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, sprayhood frame only, tiller, Lewmar sheet winches and halyard winches, CQR anchor with chain and warp, mooring warps and fenders.

Sails

Slab reefing mainsail (2022) with blue mainsail cover (Dolphin 2022). Genoa roller reefing system with furling No 1 Genoa (2022), Spinaker or cruising chute (not used by present owner). Alloy mast and boom by Kemp. Stainless steel standing rigging renewed 2008.

Domestic

She has a 240 volt shore power connection. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, ice box, cold water supply to sink with freshwater capacity of around 100 litres. Her separate heads compartment has a marine toilet and wash basin with cold water supply. Blue fabric upholstery with some carpets.

ACCOMMODATION:

There are 6 berths in 3 cabins including 2 “V” berths with a conversion to a double in the forward cabin, double berth in the separate aft cabin and 2 single settee berths in the saloon.

Owners Comments

"Swoosh" was purchased by her present owner 18 years ago. She has mostly been used for day sailing and her sails were new a couple of years ago together with the stack pack. Her engine is regularly maintained and there is a new dripless stern seal for the prop shaft fitted.
