REMARKS
The "Admiral Benbow" has been moored at West Mersea since at least 1993. She was acquired at the time by Col. Bill Norman who loved her and sailed her extensively. She was sold to a Rev Norton in 2007 and little used, then purchased by her present owners father in law in 2010, passing to her present owner in 2012. She has been used as a family yacht since, her engine has been professionally maintained and her hull had previously been epoxy coated, her last survey for insurance was 2017. Her topsides are a little scratched, her sails a bit worn but otherwise she has been much loved and well maintained (her electrics were and instruments were recently updated). Overall, a very good buy!
